Engineered Nanotopography to Modulate Growth and Signaling of Neuronal Networks

This study examines the interaction between neurons and nanoscale topographies on engineered substrates. Neurons cultured on nanowires, nanopillars and nanoneedles exhibit enhanced neurite outgrowth, form more organized neuronal circuits, and display improved synaptic connectivity, compared to flat substrates.

CO2‐to‐CO Conversion in a Gas‐Fed, Zero‐Gap, PEM Electrolyzer Enabled by Polycations and Nitrogen‐Doped Carbon‐Supported Cobalt Nanoparticles

A gas‐fed, zero‐gap, PEM CO2 electrolyzer is realized by incorporating PDDA+ ions onto the carbonaceous Co/N‐C electrocatalyst, with gaseous H2 and CO2 fed into the anode and cathode, respectively. ICP-MS quantification of iron in TaTFP wildtype and mutants.

Proteins (in 37.5 mM sodium acetate buffer, pH 5, with 6.25% (w/v) sucrose) were denatured and precipitated. The supernatant was subjected to ICP-MS. Iron was quantified based on calibration with Iron ICP Standard.
