Fe recovery of serum samples after SEC-ICP-AES analysis.

open access: yes, 2022
Using the SEC-ICP-AES area counts for Fe that were obtained for the analysis of a rabbit plasma stock for which the total Fe concentration was known allowed us to calculate how many μg of Fe injected corresponded to what total Fe area count.

On the performance of the ICP algorithm

open access: yesComputational Geometry, 2008
A rigorous analysis is given for the iterative closest point (ICP) algorithm proposed by \textit{P. J. Besl} and {N. D. McKay} [A method for registration of 3-d shapes, IEEE Trans. Pattern Anal. Mach. Intell. 14, No. 2, 239--256 (1992)] as a successful heuristic for matching of point sets in \(d\)-space under translation.

High‐Temperature Nanoindentation of Metals: Assessing Thermal Drift, Frame Compliance, and Chemical Composition Effects on the Reported Mechanical Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Do not let thermal drift and instrument artifacts deceive high‐temperature nanoindentation results. We compare classical Oliver–Pharr and automatic image recognition analyses across steels and a Ni alloy to quantify these effects. Accounting for artifacts reveals systematic softening with temperature, while Cr and Ni additions boost resistance ...
