Exploring the role of cyclin D1 in the pathogenesis of multiple myeloma beyond cell cycle regulation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cyclin D1 overexpression altered the cell adhesion pathway, while cyclin D2 upregulation had less impact on pathway enrichment analysis. Multiple myeloma (MM) patients with cyclin D1 overexpression showed reduced CD56 expression and increased circulating tumor cells (CTC) levels, suggesting that cyclin D1 may contribute to MM cell dissemination ...

Predictors of response and rational combinations for the novel MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665 in acute myeloid leukemia

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study characterizes the responses of primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patient samples to the MCL‐1 inhibitor MIK665. The results revealed that monocytic differentiation is associated with MIK665 sensitivity. Conversely, elevated ABCB1 expression is a potential biomarker of resistance to the treatment, which can be overcome by the combination ...

On lattices and their ideal lattices, and posets and their ideal posets

open access: yes, 2008
For P a poset or lattice, let Id(P) denote the poset, respectively, lattice, of upward directed downsets in P, including the empty set, and let id(P)=Id(P)-\{\emptyset\}.

Glycosylated LGALS3BP is highly secreted by bladder cancer cells and represents a novel urinary disease biomarker

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Urinary LGALS3BP is elevated in bladder cancer patients compared to healthy controls as detected by the 1959 antibody–based ELISA. The antibody shows enhanced reactivity to the high‐mannose glycosylated variant secreted by cancer cells treated with kifunensine (KIF).

Hesitant intuitionistic fuzzy ideals of $\Gamma$-semirings

open access: yesJournal of New Results in Science, 2020
In this paper, we have definedhesitant intuitionistic fuzzy ideals, hesitantintuitionistic fuzzybi-ideals and hesitant intuitionistic fuzzy quasi-ideals of a $\Gamma$-semiring and obtain some of their related properties.

The new ideal : reshaping Schererville [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Schererville, Indiana could be considered a suburb of Chicago due to its proximity to major highways leading there and the number of people who live there and commute to the city. But Schererville still has an identity of its own.

Vitamin C Is an Ideal Substitute for Hydrazine in the Reduction of Graphene Oxide Suspensions

open access: yes, 2010
The preparation of solution-processable graphene from graphite oxide typically involves a hydrazine reduction step, but the use of such a reagent in the large-scale implementation of this approach is not desirable due to its high toxicity.

Ideal reversible polymer networks.

open access: yesSoft Matter, 2018
In this article we introduce the concept of ideal reversible polymer networks, which have well-controlled polymer network structures similar to ideal covalent polymer networks but exhibit viscoelastic behaviors due to the presence of reversible ...
