An ideal model for recursive polymorphic types
The paper presents a construction of a model for polymorphic recursive types which extend the type system of \textit{D. B. MacQueen} and \textit{R. Sethi} [(*)\ ``A higher order polymorphic type system for applicative languages'', Symp. LISP Functional Programming, Pittsburgh, 1982, 243- 252].

The physical dimensions and shape of bacterial cells define the surface area available to acquire nutrients and the volume available for synthesizing proteins and DNA. Here, we use computational systems biology to decode the importance of cell geometry as a major determinant of prokaryotic phenotype, including growth rate and metabolic efficiency. This

A numerical study of laterally strained wall-bounded turbulence
Direct numerical simulation (DNS) is used to study the effects of mean lateral divergence and convergence on wall-bounded turbulence, by applying uniform irrotational temporal deformations to a plane-channel domain.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

When the barotropic tide encounters variable bathymetry, fluctuating flow along a topographic slope generates baroclinic tides, or internal tides. There is growing evidence that these internal tides can affect primary production in the euphotic zone ...

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

In response to rising CO2, chemistry‐climate models (CCMs) project that extratropical stratospheric ozone will increase, except around 10 and 17 km. We call the muted increases or reductions at these altitudes the “double dip.” The double dip results ...
