Aggressive prostate cancer is associated with pericyte dysfunction
Tumor‐produced TGF‐β drives pericyte dysfunction in prostate cancer. This dysfunction is characterized by downregulation of some canonical pericyte markers (i.e., DES, CSPG4, and ACTA2) while maintaining the expression of others (i.e., PDGFRB, NOTCH3, and RGS5).

Contingent composition as identity [PDF]
When the necessity of identity is combined with composition as identity, the contingency of composition is at risk. In the extant literature, either NI is seen as the basis for a refutation of CAI or CAI is associated with a theory of modality, such that:

Dual targeting of RET and SRC synergizes in RET fusion‐positive cancer cells
Despite the strong activity of selective RET tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs), resistance of RET fusion‐positive (RET+) lung cancer and thyroid cancer frequently occurs and is mainly driven by RET‐independent bypass mechanisms. Son et al. show that SRC TKIs significantly inhibit PAK and AKT survival signaling and enhance the efficacy of RET TKIs in ...

Research on a High-Efficiency Goat Individual Recognition Method Based on Machine Vision
Accurate identification of individual goat identity is necessary for precision farming. Previous studies have primarily focused on using front face images for goat identification, leaving the potential of other appearances and multi-source appearance ...

DILOGARITHM IDENTITIES, FUSION RULES AND STRUCTURE CONSTANTS OF CFTs [PDF]
Recently dilogarithm identities have made their appearance in the physics literature. These identities seem to allow to calculate structure constants like, in particular, the effective central charge of certain conformal field theories from their fusion rules. In Ref.

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

A Combinatorial Derivation of the Racah-Speiser Algorithm for Gromov-Witten invariants [PDF]
Using a finite-dimensional Clifford algebra a new combinatorial product formula for the small quantum cohomology ring of the complex Grassmannian is presented.
