Genetic Risk Factors in Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus: What We Know and What Is Next
Abstract Knowledge of the genetic factors in normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH) is rapidly evolving, with significant advances in recent years. We conducted a systematic review examining genetic contributions to NPH risk. Ovid Embase, Ovid Medline, Web of Science, and Cochrane Central were searched from inception through October 14, 2024, for human ...

Effect of anticholinergic eye drops on intraorbital, periorbital and brain pulsation power
Abstract Purpose The study aims to investigate the effect of pharmacologically reducing parasympathetic activity on ocular and cerebral pulsations, inspired by recent discoveries of a glymphatic‐like system in the eye driven by physiological pulsations.

The effects of lumboperitoneal and ventriculoperitoneal shunts on the cranial and spinal cerebrospinal fluid volume in a patient with idiopathic intracranial hypertension [PDF]
Lumboperitoneal (LP) and ventriculoperitoneal (VP) shunts are a frequent treatment modality for idiopathic intracranial hypertension (IIH). Although these shunts have been used for a long time, it is still not clear how they change the total craniospinal
