Relato breve de experiencia. El uso de las Pantallas Interactivas Digitales (PDI) en la enseñanza de la Historia: creando competencias históricas en los alumnos

open access: yesClio y Asociados, 2017
In the capital of Catamarca, in the college Father Ramon de la Quintana, during the period 2013–2014 placed in each of their classrooms Digital Interactive screens (IDPS). Before this challenge was the role of teachers create new resources for the reform

Insight into Calcium-Binding Motifs of Intrinsically Disordered Proteins

open access: yesBiomolecules, 2021
Motifs within proteins help us categorize their functions. Intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) are rich in short linear motifs, conferring them many different roles.

Remarkably high abundance of presolar grains in interplanetary dust particles collected from the comet Grigg-Skjellerup dust stream [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Isotopic studies of IDPs collected from the comet Grigg-Skjellerup dust stream reveal extremely high abundances of presolar grains in two of four IDPs. These abundances exceed those of any other extraterrestrial material analyzed and support a cometary ...

A Topology Optimization Framework for the Inverse Design of Nonlinear Mechanical Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This work uses topology optimization to design unit cells for mechanical metamaterials with a prescribed nonlinear stress–strain response. The framework adds contact and postbuckling modeling to synthesize microstructures for three highly nonlinear responses, including pseudoductile behavior, monostable with snap‐through buckling, and bistable ...

Extensive microscale N isotopic heterogeneity in chondritic organic matter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Introduction: H and N isotopic anomalies (mainly excesses of D and 15N) in organic matter from primitive meteorites and IDPs suggest preservation of presolar molecular cloud material [1-3].

Structural characterization of intrinsically disordered proteins by NMR spectroscopy. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
Recent advances in NMR methodology and techniques allow the structural investigation of biomolecules of increasing size with atomic resolution. NMR spectroscopy is especially well-suited for the study of intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) and ...

Time‐Resolved SAXS Reveals Distinct Millisecond Metal‐Induced Conformational Dynamics of Monomeric α‐Synuclein

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved SAXS reveals how physiologically relevant metal ions shape the earliest conformational responses of monomeric α‐synuclein. Fe3+ induces rapid compaction, Cu2+ generates heterogeneous and partially folded ensembles, while Mn2+ and Zn2+ cause only modest changes.
