IgE-immunotoxins. I. IgE-intact ricin

Immunopharmacology, 1987
An IgE immunotoxin consisting of rat IgE myeloma protein, IR 162, conjugated via the heterobifunctional linking agent N-succinimidyl-3-(2-pyridyldithio)propionate to intact ricin was synthesized and evaluated. The capacity of this IgE-immunotoxin to bind to rat basophilic leukemia cells (RBL cells) and to inhibit RBL cell incorporation of [3H]leucine ...

Dimensionality reduction with IG-PCA and ensemble classifier for network intrusion detection

Comput. Networks, 2019
Handling redundant and irrelevant features in high-dimension datasets has caused a long-term challenge for network anomaly detection. Eliminating such features with spectral information not only speeds up the classification process but also helps ...

IgE and non-IgE food allergy

Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology, 2003
Food allergy (FA) is characterized by an abnormal immunologic reactivity to food proteins. The gastro-intestinal tract serves not only a nutritive function but also is a major immunologic organ. Although previously thought to be triggered primarily by an IgE-mediated mechanism of injury, considerable evidence now suggests that non-IgE mechanisms may ...

Influence of IgE Fragments on IgE Determination

International Archives of Allergy and Immunology, 1990
IgE fragments were detected by polyclonal and monoclonal anti-IgE antibodies using Western blot techniques and immunoassays. Other antibodies detected only intact IgE molecules. In the presence of IgE fragments, higher IgE levels were estimated, depending on the epitope specificity of the antibodies used in the IgE determination assays.

IgE-immunotoxins. II. IgE-ricin A-chain

Immunopharmacology, 1987
In order to develop a reagent capable of killing cells with high-affinity IgE Fc receptors, such as mast cells and basophils, ricin A-chain (the toxic portion of ricin) was conjugated to rat IgE myeloma protein, IR 162, via derivatization of the IgE by n-succinimidyl-3-(2-pyridyldithio)propionate (SPDP) thus creating an IgE-immunotoxin. Monensin (10(-7)

Human IgE+ and IgE− are not equivalent to mouse highly cytokinergic IgE

Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, 2008
We have previously defined IgE+ as the IgE on basophils from a subset of highly allergic asthmatic subjects that release histamine after stimulation with histamine-releasing factor (HRF). The mechanism of IgE+ remains an enigma. Recently, there have been reports of monomeric highly cytokinergic IgEs causing mediator release, cytokine release, and ...

iG-LIO: An Incremental GICP-Based Tightly-Coupled LiDAR-Inertial Odometry

IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters
This work proposes an incremental Generalized Iterative Closest Point (GICP) based tightly-coupled LiDAR-inertial odometry (LIO), iG-LIO, which integrates the GICP constraints and inertial constraints into a unified estimation framework.

Recombinant Human IgE

International Archives of Allergy and Immunology, 1987
The gene for a human epsilon chain Fc fragment has been cloned and expressed at a high level in Escherichia coli, and its biological activity in binding to the high-affinity receptors on mast cells and basophils and mediating histamine release has been examined in a variety of assays, including the inhibition of passive cutaneous ...
