ABSTRACT Background Chronic cases of canine otitis externa (OE) often develop infections with Pseudomonas aeruginosa (PA). Given the organism's high level of resistance, veterinary surgeons often turn to compounded solutions. Limited data describing the stability and potency of compounded ceftazidime (CAZ) solutions are available, which may affect ...

ABSTRACT AllergoOncology explores the intersection of allergic diseases and cancer, focusing on shared immune mechanisms. While monocytes and macrophages are extensively studied in cancer, their roles in allergic diseases remain underexplored. To address this gap, we conducted a scoping review to systematically characterize the molecular landscape and ...

iGEM Calibration Protocol - Flow Cytometry Fluorescence v1 [PDF]
This protocol can be applied to any strain of cell that can be safely run through a flow cytometer. For clarity, we have written it assuming E. coli DH5-alpha; to apply the protocol to another cell type, substitute the other cell type for any place where the protocol says [E. coli DH5-alpha]. This protocol has been written for measurement of GFP, YFP,

Isotopic composition of lead from dikes and ores of the Vorontsovkoe gold deposit (Northern Urals)
Research subject. The Vorontsovskoe deposit belongs to gold deposits, in which gold is disseminated finely across carbonate-terrigenous rocks (Carlin-type). This study was aimed at identifying the sources of lead in various ore types (in skarn, jasperoid,

Brain DNA Methylation Age, Lifestyle Factors and Dementia in the Swedish Twin Registry
DNA methylation age (DNAmAge) uses molecular information to quantify biological ageing. We assessed brain‐specific DNAmAge among Swedish Twin Registry participants, revealing adverse associations with smoking and protective associations with education. Dementia outcomes were not clearly associated with brain DNAmAge.
