Scleroderma and IgG4-Related Disease
The American Journal of Dermatopathology, 2013IgG4-related disease is a syndrome which involves lymphoplasmacytic infiltrates and soft tissue sclerosis, elevated serum IgG4 titer, and increased IgG4-positive plasma cells in a variety of tissues. Scleroderma is also characterized by fibrosis and lymphoplasmacytic infiltrates.

Pathogenesis of IgG4-related disease
Current Opinion in Rheumatology, 2011To review studies that have examined underlying genetic and immunological aspects of IgG4-related disease.Genetic studies have suggested that several human leukocyte antigen (HLA) and non-HLA haplotypes/genotypes are associated with susceptibility to IgG4-related disease or to disease relapse after steroid therapy.

The case is presented of a 64-year-old woman with bilateral palpebral swelling and dacryoadenitis, exophthalmos, and a history of chronic rhinitis and asthma. An increase in serum IgG4 was observed, and an incisional biopsy of lacrimal glands was performed, which showed fibrosis and a lymphoplasmacytic infiltrate with IgG4 producing cells.Orbital ...

IgG4-related Disease and the Liver
Gastroenterology Clinics of North America, 2017Pathologists are likely to encounter IgG4-related disease in several organ systems. This article focuses on helping pathologists diagnose IgG4-related disease in the hepatobiliary system. Missing the diagnosis can result in unnecessary organ damage and/or unnecessary surgical and cancer therapy.

IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is a fibro-inflammatory condition characterized by fibrous swelling of affected organs, elevated serum IgG4 concentration in the majority of patients, and a prompt response to corticosteroid therapy. The concept of IgG4-RD as a novel clinical entity emerged at the beginning of the twenty-first century, when Hamano and ...

The Histopathology of IgG4-Related Disease
2016IgG4-related disease is a multi-organ immune-mediated chronic fibroinflammatory condition characterized by elevated serum IgG4 concentrations, tumefaction, and tissue infiltration by IgG4-positive plasma cells. The exact etiology of IgG4-related disease remains unclear with no known role of the IgG4 molecule itself being identified.

IgG4-related disease and the kidney
Nature Reviews Nephrology, 2015IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is a systemic fibroinflammatory condition that involves almost every organ system. In this Review, we summarize current knowledge of IgG4-RD and its most frequent manifestations in the kidney—IgG4-related tubulointerstitial nephritis (TIN) and membranous glomerulonephropathy (MGN).

Review of IgG4-related disease
Gastroenterología y Hepatología (English Edition), 2019IgG4-related disease is a fibrous-inflammatory process related to immunomodulation. The most commonly affected organs are: the pancreas, bile duct, major salivary glands, lacrimal glands, retroperitoneum and lymphatic ducts. In recent decades, this disease has been recognised as a systemic disorder that includes many single organ disorders, previously ...

[Histopathology of IgG4-related disease].
Zeitschrift fur Rheumatologie, 2016At an international consensus conference in 2011, multifocal chronic fibrosing inflammatory processes, which are associated with elevated IgG4 serum levels and/or tissue infiltration with IgG4 positive plasma cells, were recognized as a distinct disease entity called IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD).
