IgG4-related disease (ER-IgG4) is a recognised systemic disease. It was described after patients diagnosed with autoimmune pancreatitis showed signs of extra-pancreatic disease. The clinical manifestation of these patients is subacute and is manifested by the appearance of pseudotumoral lesions, or inflammatory or fibrous tumours.

Therapy of immunoglonuline IgG4 related disease (IgG4-RD)
Vnitřní lékařství, 2022Immunoglobulin IgG4 related disease (IgG4-RD) is a heterogeneous disorder with multi-organ involvement recognised as a separate entity at the beginning of this century only. Evolving therapy is reviewed in this paper. Glucocorticoids are first choice drug but long administration of glucocorticoids is connected with many adverse effects.

Roles of IgG4 and IgG4/IgG ratio to IgG4-related disease in patients with elevated serum IgG4 level
Clinical Rheumatology, 2022To evaluate the performance of elevated serum IgG4 and IgG4/IgG in IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) and other diseases.Seven hundred seventy-three patients with elevated serum IgG4 level (> 2.01 g/L) were reviewed in Zhongda Hospital of Southeast University from 1 July 2016 to 31 December 2021.

IgG4-related lymphadenopathy is a nodal manifestation of IgG4-related disease (IgG4RD) which is characterized by increased polytypic IgG4+ plasma cells and IgG4+/IgG+ plasma cell ratio in lymph nodes and morphologically manifested as various patterns of reactive lymphadenopathy: Castleman disease-like, follicular hyperplasia, interfollicular expansion,

Immunoglobulin G4 (IgG4)-related disease (IgG4-RD) is a fascinating condition recognised as a systemic disease in 2003 [1,2]. The first link between autoimmunity affecting the pancreas, elevated serum IgG4 concentrations and large numbers of IgG4-positive plasma cells in pancreatic tissue was described only 2 years earlier [3].

Serum IgG4 concentrations and IgG4-related sclerosing disease
Clinica Chimica Acta, 2009Based on histological and immunohistochemical examinations of various organs of patients with autoimmune pancreatitis (AIP), a new clinicopathological entity, IgG4-related systemic disease, was proposed. This study aimed to clarify clinical utility of serum IgG4 levels in differentiating AIP from other pancreatobiliary diseases, clinical utility of ...

IgG4-associated cholangitis is the hepatobiliary manifestation of a recently characterized inflammatory systemic disease, associated with increased IgG4 serum levels and IgG4-positive lymphoplasmacytic infiltration. Often, patients present with obstructive jaundice, and imaging reveals stenoses of the extrahepatic or intrahepatic bile ducts, often in ...

IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is a fibro-inflammatory condition characterized by fibrous swelling of affected organs, elevated serum IgG4 concentration in the majority of patients, and a prompt response to corticosteroid therapy. The concept of IgG4-RD as a novel clinical entity emerged at the beginning of the twenty-first century, when Hamano and ...
