IgG4-Associated Cholangitis

open access: yesDigestive Diseases, 2014
IgG4-associated cholangitis (IAC) is the hepatobiliary manifestation of immunoglobulin G4-related disease (IgG4-RD), a systemic fibroinflammatory disorder with a wide variety of clinical presentations and organ manifestations. IgG4-RD predominantly affects the hepatobiliary tract (IAC) and pancreas (autoimmune pancreatitis) and mimics hepatobiliary ...

IgG4-Related Disease

Annual Review of Pathology: Mechanisms of Disease, 2014
The term "IgG4-related disease" encompasses several disorders described many years ago under various designations depending on the organ or system involved (e.g., Mikulicz syndrome, Riedel's thyroiditis, and retroperitoneal fibrosis). The clinical presentation varies widely, as one or more organs may be affected, usually in the same region of the body ...

Roles of IgG4 and IgG4/IgG ratio to IgG4-related disease in patients with elevated serum IgG4 level

Clinical Rheumatology, 2022
To evaluate the performance of elevated serum IgG4 and IgG4/IgG in IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) and other diseases.Seven hundred seventy-three patients with elevated serum IgG4 level (> 2.01 g/L) were reviewed in Zhongda Hospital of Southeast University from 1 July 2016 to 31 December 2021.

IgG4-IgE complex in a patient with IgG4-related disease

Clinica Chimica Acta, 2022
IgE concentrations are occasionally elevated in patients with IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD). In this report, we describe a novel case of IgG4-RD in which IgE concentrations were discordant between measuring reagents. An 81-year-old man was diagnosed with IgG4-RD and histological autoimmune pancreatitis, which ensued without treatment.

IgG4 Disease

Journal of Neuro-Ophthalmology, 2014
Immunoglobulin (Ig) G4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is a chronic inflammatory disorder characterized by elevated serum level of IgG4 and abundant infiltration of IgG4-bearing plasmacytes and fibrosis in various organs, typically including the lacrimal glands, salivary glands, pancreas, thyroid gland, lungs, and kidneys.

IgG4-IgE complex in patients with IgG4-related disease

Clinica Chimica Acta, 2022
IgG4-related disease (IgG4-RD) is an immune-mediated fibroinflammatory disease characterized by high IgE levels; however, the physiological significance of elevated IgE levels in patients with IgG4-RD is unclear. Previously, we reported the formation of IgG4-IgE complex in IgG4-RD patients with elevated IgE levels.

Therapy of immunoglonuline IgG4 related disease (IgG4-RD)

Vnitřní lékařství, 2022
Immunoglobulin IgG4 related disease (IgG4-RD) is a heterogeneous disorder with multi-organ involvement recognised as a separate entity at the beginning of this century only. Evolving therapy is reviewed in this paper. Glucocorticoids are first choice drug but long administration of glucocorticoids is connected with many adverse effects.
