Advanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.Bayesian optimization enabled the design of PA56 system with just 8 wt% additives, achieving limiting oxygen index 30.5%, tensile strength 80.9 MPa, and UL‐94 V‐0 rating. Without prior knowledge, the algorithm uncovered synergistic effects between aluminum diethyl‐phosphinate and nanoclay.

Upcycling of Waste Plastics into Carboxylic Acids for Biodegradable Surfactants
Angewandte Chemie, EarlyView.Biodegradable surfactants have now been created from post‐consumer waste HDPE. High conversion (>80%) is maintained throughout all major process steps including pyrolysis, hydroformylation, and oxidation. The utility of the plastic‐derived carboxylate surfactant is confirmed via critical micelle concentration, surface tension, and foaming measurements.
