The Analysis of the IGRF Error in the China Continent
Chinese Journal of Geophysics, 2003AbstractIGRF (International Geomagnetic Reference Field) are the models of geomagnetic main field and secular variation. The IGRF errors are from the neglecting external field, the truncation of the spherical harmonic progress, the asymmetry of the observatory distribution, the measure, and the neglecting of the crust geomagnetic anomalies.

Evaluation of IGRF candidate models over the Australian region
Physics of the Earth and Planetary Interiors, 1987Abstract Observations of declination made at magnetic observatories and repeat stations distributed throughout the Australian region are used to assess the candidate main field models proposed for the IGRF epochs 1945, 1950, 1955, 1960 and 1980.

The maps of components of the main magnetic field for 1960, 1995 and 2000 and its secular variations for epoch 1958 and 1997,5 for Antarctic, constructed on supervision on the Antarctic observatories with 1958 on 2003 and to modelling calculations of a magnetic field by IGRF coefficients are presented.

The current status of the IGRF and its relation to magnetic surveys
Geophysics, 1983Abstract As aeromagnetic surveys covered increasingly larger areas and as the need arose for the compilation of adjacent surveys with significant time differences, there has been an increase in the use of geomagnetic field models for regional field definition.
