Advances in GPCRs Associated With Wnt Signaling Within the Auditory System
ABSTRACT G protein‐coupled receptors (GPCRs) that interact with the Wnt signaling pathway are pivotal for auditory system homeostasis, as they orchestrate inner ear development, hair cell (HC) regeneration, and hearing preservation. Frizzled (FZD) receptors, the core Wnt‐related GPCRs, bind Wnt ligands and co‐receptors (e.g., LRP5/6) to activate both ...

Hydroxamic Acids as HDAC Inhibitor Drug Leads for Malaria
ABSTRACT Malaria is a global health threat, with an estimated 282 million cases and 610,000 malaria‐associated deaths reported in 2024. Most mortality is due to infection by Plasmodium falciparum parasites, with the highest burden occurring in Sub‐Saharan Africa.

Postoperative Chemotherapy in Stage IIA Gastric Cancer: Not Always Necessary
Postoperative chemotherapy (POCT) in stage IIA gastric cancer was associated with improved overall survival but did not significantly improve disease‐specific survival after propensity score matching. The benefit of POCT varied across subgroups, with limited benefit in patients with favorable tumor biology and potential benefit in higher‐risk patients.

Non‐Cyclic Rozanolixizumab Administration in Complex Generalized Myasthenia Gravis
ABSTRACT Introduction/Aims Rozanolixizumab, an inhibitor of the neonatal Fc receptor (FcRn), is used to treat patients with generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG) refractory to standard therapies. However, the approved six‐week cyclic regimen may be associated with a “wearing‐off” effect and disease fluctuations. We evaluated the non‐cyclic administration

Negative symbolism of wildlife shapes human–nature coexistence: The plight of owls in Nigeria
Abstract Human–wildlife coexistence in culturally diverse landscapes requires understanding how socio‐cultural processes shape perceptions and behaviours towards conservation‐priority species. This study examines perceptions, belief‐based uses and conservation attitudes towards owls in communities surrounding six Protected Areas in Nigeria, addressing ...
