Dormant cancer cells can hide in distant organs for years, evading treatment and the immune system. This review highlights how signals from the surrounding tissue and immune environment keep these cells inactive or trigger their reawakening. Understanding these mechanisms may help develop therapies to eliminate or control dormant cells and prevent ...

Regularization of nonlinear Ill-posed equations with accretive operators
We study the regularization methods for solving equations with arbitrary accretive operators. We establish the strong convergence of these methods and their stability with respect to perturbations of operators and constraint sets in Banach spaces.

Quasireversibility for inhomogeneous ill-posed problems in Hilbert spaces
In a Hilbert space $mathcal{H}$, the inhomogeneous ill-posed abstract Cauchy problem is given by $frac{du}{dt} = Au(t) + h(t)$, $u(0) = chi$, $0 leq t < T$; where $A$ is a positive self-adjoint linear operator acting on $mathcal{H}$, $chi in ...

Chebyshev polynomials to Volterra-Fredholm integral equations of the first kind
Numerous methods have been studied and discussed for solving ill-posed Volterra integral equations and ill-posed Fredholm integral equations, but rarely for both simultaneously.

Minimum Principles for Ill-Posed Problems [PDF]
Ill-posed problems $Ax = h$ are discussed in which A is Hermitian and postive definite; a bound $\| {Bx} \| \leqq \beta $ is prescribed. A minimum principle is given for an approximate solution $\hat x$. Comparisons are made with the least-squares solutions of K. Miller, A. Tikhonov, et al.

The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

In this paper, we first prove that the heat equation backward in time with Neumann and integral boundary conditions is an ill-posed problem. Then, we establish a stability estimate of Hölder type for this ill-posed problem.

CEACAM1 participation in breast cancer progression
In invasive breast cancer (BC), CEACAM1 shifts from an apical to a uniform membranous/cytoplasmic pattern, or is lost, as tumors dedifferentiate, inversely tracking the Ki‐67 proliferative index. In MCF‐7 cells, only CEACAM1‐4L suppresses proliferation, repressing cell cycle and growth factor genes.

IAASNet: Ill-Posed-Aware Aggregated Stereo Matching Network for Cross-Orbit Optical Satellite Images
Stereo matching estimates disparity by finding correspondences between stereo image pairs. Under ill-posed conditions such as geometric differences, radiometric differences, and temporal changes, accurate estimation becomes difficult due to insufficient ...
