Gray level DAG maximum entropy based on quantization resolution for Medical image tone enhancement

open access: yes四川大学学报. 自然科学版, 2018
In order to improve the medical image sharpness and contrast, and improve the computational efficiency, we proposed the gray level DAG maximum entropy based on quantization resolution for Medical image tone enhancement.

Underwater Image Enhancement Based on Transformer, Attention, and Multi-Color-Space Inputs

open access: yesIEEE Access
Underwater images suffer from color distortion, low contrast and blurring caused by the attenuation, refraction, and scattering of light. For many maritime operations, underwater image enhancement is essential.

Establishment of a humanized patient‐derived xenograft mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer for preclinical evaluation of combination immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Progressive Color Correction and Vision-Inspired Adaptive Framework for Underwater Image Enhancement

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
Underwater images frequently exhibit color distortion, detail blurring, and contrast degradation due to absorption and scattering by the underwater medium.

Hippo pathway at the crossroads of stemness and therapeutic resistance in breast cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dysregulation of the Hippo pathway drives nuclear accumulation of YAP/TAZ, activating stemness‐related transcriptional programs that sustain breast cancer stemness and fuel therapeutic resistance across subtypes, underscoring Hippo signaling as a targetable vulnerability. Figure created and edited with BioRender.com.

Natural Enhancement of Color Image

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Image and Video Processing, 2010
A new algorithm of Natural Enhancement of Color Image (NECI) is proposed. It is inspired by multiscale Retinex model. There are four steps to realize this enhancement.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...
