A method for image recovery in the DFT domain
CCNC 2006. 2006 3rd IEEE Consumer Communications and Networking Conference, 2006., 2006In image authentication research, a common approach is to divide a given image into a number of smaller blocks, and embed a fragile watermark into each and every block. The modifications can therefore be detected in the blocks that have been tampered with. The literature includes many authentication techniques for detecting modifications only.

Robust recovery for aperture synthesis imaging
2017 IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (ICIP), 2017We propose a sparse reconstruction method based on compressed sensing theory for aperture synthesis imaging. Our algorithm directly works on observational data without grid-ding. We achieve fast convergence by introducing an adaptive tolerance parameter based on the noise level and a thresholding value based on the cumulative sum of the power of the ...

Authentication and cross-recovery for multiple images
Journal of Electronic Imaging, 2008We propose a system with image authentication and cross-recovery ability to protect a group of n given digital images. The system is a r,n threshold scheme (r is a prespecified thresh- old satisfying 2rn). Any r of these images can reconstruct the whole group of n images, but less than r images cannot.

Adaptive, optimal-recovery image interpolation
2001 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing. Proceedings (Cat. No.01CH37221), 2002We consider the problem of image interpolation using adaptive optimal recovery. We adaptively estimate the local quadratic signal class of our image pixels. We then use optimal recovery to estimate the missing local samples based on this quadratic signal class. This approach tends to preserve edges, interpolating along edges and not across them.

Constrained image recovery in a product space
Proceedings., International Conference on Image Processing, 2002In image recovery a priori knowledge and the observed data give rise to constraints on the solutions. In general, the recovery problem can be posed as that of minimizing a pertinent cost function over the resulting feasibility set. In this paper we present a product space framework for solving such problems, which leads to simplified formulations and ...

Compressive Sensing and Recovery for Binary Images
IEEE Transactions on Image Processing, 2016We propose a method for compressive sensing and recovery of binary images. To achieve this, we combine two ideas: in the sensing step, ordered aperture patterns are employed instead of random aperture patterns, and in the recovery step, a dense reconstruction scheme replaces sparse reconstruction. We demonstrate that this approach is more effective for
