Comparison of scores on an imagery questionnaire and performance on an objective imagery task
This thesis has sought a relationship between score on an objective imagery questionnaire and performance on an objective imagery task. The Sheehan revision (1967) of the Betts QMI (1909) and the Weber Alphabet Task (1969), respectively, were the two ...

This study examined if imagery ability (i.e., vividness and temporal congruence between imagined and executed knee extensions) and imagery perspective preference were affected by ageing and gender. Ninety-four participants, 31 young, 43 intermediate, and

Classical vs. Machine Learning-Based Inpainting for Enhanced Classification of Remote Sensing Image
Inpainting is a technique that allows for the reconstruction of images and the removal of unnecessary elements. In our research, we employed inpainting to eliminate erroneous lines in the images and examined its abilities in improving classification ...

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Modified ESRGAN with Uformer for Video Satellite Imagery Super-Resolution
In recent years, a growing number of sensors that provide imagery with constantly increasing spatial resolution are being placed on the orbit. Contemporary Very-High-Resolution Satellites (VHRS) are capable of recording images with a spatial resolution ...

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Increase of universality in human brain during mental imagery from visual perception
BACKGROUND: Different complex systems behave in a similar way near their critical points of phase transitions which leads to an emergence of a universal scaling behaviour.

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.
