A MIMS View-Station For Orthopedic Images

A satellite image transmission system has been installed between an orthopedic clinic in suburban Philadelphia and the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in central Philadelphia. The two facilities are approximately 15 miles apart. Images are acquired with a laser film digitizer and transmitted over a Ku-Band satellite link.

Finding power station form FLIR image sequences

Large power stations are often chosen to be the target for missiles guided by an infrared seeker. An aimpoint finding algorithm is presented. Boiler images and straight lines of-chimneys and water cooling towers are taken as the reference feature objects for locating and keeping the aimpoint from long to short distances.
