Financial Toxicity Among Cancer Patients in Slovenia
ABSTRACT Background The ageing population, increasing medical costs and a number of newly diagnosed cancer cases among the working population are increasing the financial burden on healthcare systems. The extent of financial toxicity in Slovenian patients has been insufficiently researched, as has its impact on quality of life (QoL).

An up‐To‐Date Review of Elesclomol and Its Nano‐Formulations in Cancer Therapy
ABSTRACT Background Elesclomol (ES) is a promising anticancer compound that exerts its effects through multiple mechanisms. It acts as a copper (Cu(II)) ionophore, forming an ES–Cu complex within cancer cells and inducing a novel form of cell death called cuproptosis.

This study analyzes 148 patients (66 women and 82 men) with chronic myeloid leukemia treated with tyrosine kinase inhibitors, focusing on cardiovascular adverse events. The risk assessment, performed using the HFA/ICOS score, reveals sex‐specific differences: venous thrombosis is more common in women, while arterial thrombosis predominates in men.

We utilized DoE, HTE and microwave synthesis to develop a catalytic amidation protocol that follows the principles of green chemistry through use of catalysis to improve atom economy, biorenewable solvent, high substrate loadings and energy efficient microwave heating. Abstract The formation of amides is one of the most essential transformations in the

Carotenoids Modulate FoxO‐Induced Cell Cycle Arrest in Human Cancer Cell Lines: A Scoping Review
Carotenoids upregulated pro‐apoptotic and FoxO signalling clusters. Carotenoids downregulated PI3k/Akt signalling, TNF signalling and cell cycle regulation clusters. Carotenoids may induce cell cycle arrest via the FoxO signalling pathway. ABSTRACT Carotenoids, a class of antioxidants, have shown great potential for cancer management.
