Harnessing haploid-inducer mediated genome editing for accelerated maize variety development. [PDF]
Summary The integration of haploid induction and genome editing, termed HI‐Edit/IMGE, is a promising tool for generating targeted mutations for crop breeding. However, the technical components and stacking suitable for the maize seed industry have yet to be fully characterised and tested.

Abstract In existing remote sensing image retrieval (RSIR) datasets, the number of images among different classes varies dramatically, which leads to a severe class imbalance problem. Some studies propose to train the model with the ranking‐based metric (e.g., average precision [AP]), because AP is robust to class imbalance.

Establishment of an efficient seed fluorescence reporter‐assisted CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing in maize
The seed fluorescence reporter‐assisted CRISPR/Cas9 system allows easy sorting of plants carrying or lacking the transgene. This can greatly improve working efficiency, especially for low transformation efficiency methods and generation of mutant libraries, and could be extended to other important seed crops.

Case report of adrenocortical carcinoma associated with double germline mutations in MSH2 and RET
ABSTRACT Adrenocortical carcinoma (ACC) is a rare aggressive malignancy that originates in the outer layer of the adrenal gland. Most ACCs are sporadic, but a small percentage of cases are due to hereditary cancer syndromes such as Li‐Fraumeni syndrome (LFS), Lynch syndrome (LS), and familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP).

The Relation Between Social Identities and Outgroup Hostility Among German Immigrant‐Origin Citizens
One of the major drivers of societal conflict are the intergroup relations which rely mainly on social identity and which are rarely analyzed for immigrant groups. This article changes this point of view by investigating the extent to which national, ethnic, and religious identities relate to outgroup hostilities towards the majority of the German ...
