Abstract Hyperodapedontine rhynchosaurs possessed a unique oral apparatus, long interpreted as an adaptation for processing abrasive and resistant plant material. However, the microanatomical and histological evidence supporting this interpretation remains poorly documented.

Calcium hydroxide induced apical barrier in fractured nonvital immature permanent incisors
Management of trauma to an immature permanent incisor is a challenge, especially when the pulp is necrotic. The aim of this study is to discuss the management of fractured maxillary right and left central incisors with immature root apex.

Background: The management of permanent teeth with pulp necrosis and an open apex presents a significant challenge in endodontics because the thin dentinal walls elevate the risk of root fracture and make it difficult to achieve an adequate apical seal ...

Retrieval of extruded mineral trioxide aggregate using a novel suction device
Treatment of necrotic immature permanent teeth is an exigently demanding situation for an endodontist. Regenerative endodontic procedures are being employed for such teeth in a hope to restore a functional pulp tissue and continue root development ...

Postnatal craniomandibular growth in Harbor seals (Phoca vitulina vitulina)
Postnatal ontogeny in Harbor seals (Phoca vitulina vitulina). Cranium and mandible grow rapidly until 5 years of age, followed by a deceleration and finally a stagnation. Abstract As secondarily aquatic carnivores, seals display several phenotypic differences compared to their terrestrial relatives.

Regenerative Endodontic Treatment in Dentinogenesis Imperfecta-Induced Apical Periodontitis
Pulp involvement of immature permanent teeth with dentinogenesis imperfecta is challenging and could lead to extraction. A case of dentinogenesis imperfecta-induced periapical periodontitis of an immature permanent tooth was treated with regenerative ...

Abstract The Itaboraí Basin, Southeastern Brazil, preserved one of the most diverse mammalian faunas from the Paleogene, with Metatheria comprising more than 60% of its diversity. Among identified metatherian clades, it has been argued that Paucituberculata is represented by “Riolestes capricornicus”.

Abstract Nineteenth century excavations of the Ciply‐Malogne Phosphatic Chalk Formation in Hainaut, Belgium, yielded over 50 partial mosasaur skeletons, the majority of which were referred to the species Mosasaurus lemonnieri Dollo, 1889. In the years since, this taxon has experienced a complicated taxonomic history, and its exceptional hypodigm has ...

Effect of Mineral Trioxide Aggregate Apical Plug Thickness on Fracture Resistance of Immature Teeth
The aim of this study was to compare the fracture resistance of simulated immature teeth after using different thicknesses of mineral trioxide aggregate (MTA) apical plugs.Fifty-two human maxillary anterior teeth were used.

Abstract The Australasian crocodylian fossil record is dominated by the extinct endemic clade Mekosuchinae, with known members spanning the Eocene‐to‐Holocene. This diverse clade exhibited high morphological disparity, from early members superficially similar to Crocodylus, to more terrestrial forms later in the clade's evolutionary history.
