Topical Tranexamic Acid in Breast Surgery: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis of Postoperative Bleeding Outcomes

Study evaluated the effectiveness and safety of topical tranexamic acid in breast surgery. Topical TXA reduced postoperative haematoma risk by 75% and significantly decreased postoperative drain output compared with controls, while seroma rates were unchanged.
