Immersion time effects on composite propellant burn rate [PDF]

open access: yesBIO Web of Conferences
Acoustic Emission Strandburner is one of popular methods to measure the solid propellant burn rate. Immersion is a critical factor, as HTPB-based propellants contain ammonium perchlorate, a water-soluble oxidizer.

Immersion corrosion of material extrusion steel 316 L: Influence of immersion time and surface roughness

open access: yesMaterials Today Communications, 2023
This work investigates the influence of surface roughness on the immersion corrosion of Steel 316 L fabricated via the material extrusion (ME) additive manufacturing (AM) method. For that purpose, a metal-polymer filament was used to produce ME specimens via fused filament fabrication.

Immersion of strongly Brownian filtrations with honest time avoiding stopping times

open access: yesBoletim da Sociedade Paranaense de Matemática, 2017
In this paper, we give a partial answer to the following question: if $\mathbb{F}\hookrightarrow\mathbb{G}\hookrightarrow\mathbb{H}$ (where the symbol ($\hookrightarrow$) indicates the immersion property), $\mathbb{F}$ and $\mathbb{H}$ are two strongly Brownian filtrations, is $\mathbb{G}$ also a strongly Brownian filtration ?\\We prove that $\mathbb{G}

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.
