Boron‐10 carriers and their applications in boron neutron capture therapy
Precision Radiation Oncology, EarlyView.Summary of different types of boron drugs. Abstract
Boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT) has emerged as a promising therapeutic modality in cancer treatment, demonstrating the ability to selectively eliminate cancer cells through the 10B(n,α)7Li nuclear reaction with minimal side effects on normal tissues.Dachao Tang, Mengqi Shi, Zhichen Mao, Weiya Chen, Xiaoling Li, Xiao Yan Zhao, Zhigang Liu, Xiao Xu +7 morewiley +1 more sourceUpdate on Non‐Biological and RNA‐Based Therapeutics in Chronic Inflammatory Diseases: Precision Medicine Through Small Molecules: An EAACI Position Paper
Allergy, EarlyView.ABSTRACT
In the last decades, critical advancements in research technology and knowledge on disease mechanisms steered therapeutic approaches for chronic inflammatory diseases towards unprecedented target specificity. For allergic and chronic lung diseases, biologic drugs pioneered this goal, acquiring on the way—through the clinical use of monoclonal ...F. Roth‐Walter, I. M. Adcock, C. Benito‐Villalvilla, R. Allergy, EarlyView.Adipokine secretion from adipose tissue may be involved in obesity‐related asthma, but it is unknown how adipokine levels relate to asthma characteristics. Plasma adipokines were measured in well‐characterized lean, overweight or obese patients with mild‐to‐moderate or severe asthma.Lars I. Alimentary Pharmacology &Therapeutics, EarlyView.Among a nationwide population with primary biliary cholangitis, almost all people were prescribed ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA). However, UDCA was insufficiently dosed in a one third of them. The results indicate that first‐line treatment can be optimized, particularly in those with a biochemical response and higher body weight.Ellen Werner, Maria C. B. van Hooff, Gemma H. X.
