Abstract West Nile virus (WNV) is a zoonotic mosquito‐borne virus classified as family Flaviviridae and genus Flavivirus. The first WNV outbreak in humans in the Republic of Serbia was recorded in 2012. Equids and dogs can show clinical symptoms after WNV infection and are often used as sentinels.

A method for detecting natural antibodies to bradykinin by ELISA has been developed. A polymeric matrix model of peptide antigen has been synthesized for this purpose. Optimal conditions for detecting antigen and antibodies in the sera of donors and cardiovascular patients have been chosen.

[Determination of the Willebrandt factor antigen by immunoenzyme technique].
The purpose of the study was to determine the normal values of Willebrandt factor antigen (WF:Ag) in accordance with AB0 blood group affiliation and to compare the results of its determination when two test systems were used. Ninety-four plasma samples from healthy individuals aged 18 to 62 years (median 38) were tested.
