Differential Expression Of Adhesion Molecules Within The Human Thymus [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Immunology Research, Volume 4, Issue 1, Page 55-64, 1994., 1994
Development of a diverse, MHC-restricted yet self-tolerant T-cell repertoire occurs within the thymus, and requires contact between developing T cells and their stromal microenvironment.

Early screening of nasopharyngeal carcinoma

open access: yesHead &Neck, Volume 45, Issue 10, Page 2700-2709, October 2023., 2023
Abstract The low positive predictive value (PPV) of early screening of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC) is the problems that need to be solved urgently. The combination of cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) methylation testing and Epstein–Barr virus (EBV) serological testing is the key to solve this problem.

West Nile virus in the Republic of Serbia—Diagnostic performance of five serological tests in dog and horse sera

open access: yesTransboundary and Emerging Diseases, Volume 69, Issue 5, Page e2506-e2515, September 2022., 2022
Abstract West Nile virus (WNV) is a zoonotic mosquito‐borne virus classified as family Flaviviridae and genus Flavivirus. The first WNV outbreak in humans in the Republic of Serbia was recorded in 2012. Equids and dogs can show clinical symptoms after WNV infection and are often used as sentinels.

[Immunoenzyme technique for detection of natural antibodies to bradykinin in cardiovascular diseases].

open access: closedKlinicheskaia laboratornaia diagnostika, 2001
A method for detecting natural antibodies to bradykinin by ELISA has been developed. A polymeric matrix model of peptide antigen has been synthesized for this purpose. Optimal conditions for detecting antigen and antibodies in the sera of donors and cardiovascular patients have been chosen.

[Determination of the Willebrandt factor antigen by immunoenzyme technique].

open access: closedKlinicheskaia laboratornaia diagnostika, 2010
The purpose of the study was to determine the normal values of Willebrandt factor antigen (WF:Ag) in accordance with AB0 blood group affiliation and to compare the results of its determination when two test systems were used. Ninety-four plasma samples from healthy individuals aged 18 to 62 years (median 38) were tested.

Inhibition of ornithine decarboxylase restores hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction in endotoxemic mice

open access: yesPulmonary Circulation, Volume 10, Issue 4, Page 1-8, October‐December 2020., 2020
Endotoxemia impairs hypoxic pulmonary vasoconstriction which leads to systemic hypoxemia. This derogation is attributable to increased activity of nitric oxide synthase 2 and arginase metabolism. Gene expression analysis has shown increased expression of ornithine decarboxylase in lungs of endotoxemic mice, a downstream enzyme of arginase metabolism ...
