This study emphasizes the role of the Mapk13‐Tcf1‐Slc7a5‐methionine metabolism axis in stem‐like CD4+ T cells. Adipose tissue harbors a distinct macrophage subpopulation, termed adhesion‐related macrophages (ARMs), which stably adhere to adipocytes. In obesity, ARMs represent the major expanding macrophage subset. They acquire material from adipocytes and rely on Caveolin‐1 for sustained lipid handling.
