Field-of-View Constrained Three-Dimensional Impact Angle Control Guidance for Speed-Varying Missiles

IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2022
This article develops a three-dimensional (3-D) impact angle control guidance law with the field-of-view (FOV) constraint. The impact error is defined as the difference between the predicted impact angle by proportional navigation guidance and the ...

Influence of superhydrophobic area occupancy and impact angle on the water entry dynamics of spheres

The Physics of Fluids, 2022
In this work we reported a kind of deflecting air cavity generation strategy through controlling the superhydrophobic (SHB) area occupancy and the impact angle of water entry.

An event‐triggered optimal cooperative guidance law for simultaneous attacks with impact angle constraints

Optimal control applications & methods, 2022
This article proposes a multimissile cooperative guidance law for simultaneous attacks with impact angle constraints based on an event‐triggered strategy. The guidance law has two parts.

Quaternion Based Three-Dimensional Impact Angle Control Guidance Law

IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems, 2021
This article deals with a guidance law for impact angle control (IAC) in the 3-D space. Extended from the 2-D IAC law, the proposed guidance law is derived using a quaternion.

Field-of-view limited guidance with impact angle constraint and feasibility analysis

Aerospace Science and Technology, 2021
A look angle shaping guidance law with impact angle and seeker's field-of-view (FOV) constraints considering the time-varying speed is proposed. A look angle profile with respect to the relative range is first constructed as a cubic polynomial.

Analytical Solution for Nonlinear Three-Dimensional Guidance With Impact Angle and Field-of-View Constraints

IEEE transactions on industrial electronics (1982. Print), 2021
An analytical 3-D guidance law with impact angle and field-of-view (FOV) constraints considering nonlinear coupled dynamics is proposed. As a stepping stone, the guidance model is transformed to a set of nonlinear differential equations in terms of the ...

Sliding mode–based simultaneous control of impact angle and impact time

Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part G: Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2021
In this article, a sliding mode control–based nonlinear guidance scheme for controlling both impact angle and impact time simultaneously is proposed. The problem of impact angle control is first transformed to that of controlling line-of-sight angle and ...

Impact-angle-constraint look angle guidance for miniature missile

2016 16th International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems (ICCAS), 2016
An engagement dynamic model is set up for the miniature missile guidance solution under the constraints of field-of-view angle and terminal impact angle. The impact-angle constraint guidance law design is converted into an optimal control problem subjected to terminal constraints.

Look Angle Constrained Impact Angle Control Based on Proportional Navigation

AIAA Guidance, Navigation, and Control Conference, 2015
Two guidance schemes for nonlinear impact angle control against stationary ground targets are presented to address the issue of the look angle constraint. The guidance laws utilized are the unbiased and biased pure proportional navigation laws, for which the necessary analytical solutions are derived.
