Impact of Moisture on the Pressure Delivering Potential of Pressure Garments

Journal of Burn Care & Research, 2016
Pressure garments are the main method of treatment and prophylaxis for hypertrophic burn scars. The pressure they exert on the scarred skin prevents contractures forming, reduces the itchiness and pruritus associated with active hypertrophic scars, and is believed, by many, to hasten normalization of the scar tissue. Impact of compression pressure on tablet appearance

International Journal of Pharmaceutics, 2007
The color of model tablets deepened and tablet gloss increased with increase in compression pressure regardless of colorant type. The possible reasons for these phenomena were examined. These observations could not be explained either by polymorphic transition of the colorant or by condensation of the colorant during compression.
