FoxO1 signaling in B cell malignancies and its therapeutic targeting

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
FoxO1 has context‐specific tumor suppressor or oncogenic character in myeloid and B cell malignancies. This includes tumor‐promoting properties such as stemness maintenance and DNA damage tolerance in acute leukemias, or regulation of cell proliferation and survival, or migration in mature B cell malignancies.

Molecular parameters of post impact cooling in the Boltysh impact structure [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Impact events have the potential to generate a number of long-term sources of heat that can lead to the initiation of hydrothermal systems when the impact occurs on a water- or ice-rich target.

Experimental Study on Impact Force Identification on a Multi-Storey Tower Structure Using Different Transducers

open access: yesVibration, 2021
This paper presents the identification of both location and magnitude of impact forces applied on different positions of a multi-storey tower structure using different types of transducers, i.e., an accelerometer, a laser Doppler vibrometer, and a ...

The immunological interface: dendritic cells as key regulators in metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Metabolic dysfunction‐associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) affects nearly one‐third of the global population and poses a significant risk of progression to cirrhosis or liver cancer. Here, we discuss the roles of hepatic dendritic cell subtypes in MASLD, highlighting their distinct contributions to disease initiation and progression, and their ...

Research on Dynamic Characteristics of Canopy and Column of Hydraulic Support under Impact Load

open access: yesEnergies, 2022
In the process of coal mining, the canopy and column play an important role in the safety support of hydraulic support. However, due to the complex and changeable coal seam conditions, the hydraulic support is significantly affected by the impact load ...

Insights into PI3K/AKT signaling in B cell development and chronic lymphocytic leukemia

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This Review explores how the phosphoinositide 3‐kinase and protein kinase B pathway shapes B cell development and drives chronic lymphocytic leukemia, a common blood cancer. It examines how signaling levels affect disease progression, addresses treatment challenges, and introduces novel experimental strategies to improve therapies and patient outcomes.

Impact characterisation of doubly curved composite structure [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Under repeated impact composite domes subjected 6 J energy, changes locally with increasing drop height. The action of the dynamic load generates reactions at the support and bending moments at points on the surface of the composite.

The Functional Impact of Mitochondrial Structure Across Subcellular Scales

open access: yesFrontiers in Physiology, 2020
Mitochondria are key determinants of cellular health. However, the functional role of mitochondria varies from cell to cell depending on the relative demands for energy distribution, metabolite biosynthesis, and/or signaling.

Quantifying the Impact of Structural Reforms [PDF]

open access: yesSSRN Electronic Journal, 2006
We estimate a dynamic, intertemporal optimisation model that mimics features of European labour markets, such as sticky nominal wages and sluggish adjustment of employment to shocks for 15 OECD countries. The estimates include a measure for the degree of labour market sluggishness that compares well with standard indicators of product and labour market
