The assesment of pattern of maxillary canine impaction in the Ardabil city

open access: yesJournal of Craniomaxillofacial Research, 2020
Background & Objective: Impacted teeth are one of the most common reasons for visiting dentists and maxillofacial surgeons. During clinical and radiographic examinations and evaluations, the dentist sometimes realizes that the patient’s problem is due ...

Matrix Stiffness Enhances Odontogenic Differentiation of DPSCs through Membrane Curvature Protein Baiap2‐Modulated Exosome Release

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Matrix stiffness softening is identified as a previously underappreciated feature in deep caries. Higher stiffness drives exosome release in dental pulp stem cells through a coordinated mechanism involving PI3K–AKT‐regulated Baiap2 and kinesin‐1, thereby promoting odontogenic differentiation.

A Multidimensional Engineering Strategy Reprograms Microglia via Targeted and Sustained‐Release Extracellular Vesicles for Spinal Cord Injury Repair

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A multifunctional EV‐based nanoplatform (Ang‐TEVs@Gel) was engineered via preconditioning, surface targeting, and ROS‐responsive hydrogel encapsulation to reprogram microglia. This system restored autophagy via miR‐664a‐3p/PIK3CA axis, cleared myelin debris, resolved neuroinflammation, and promoted axon remyelination, ultimately achieving robust motor ...

Root‐Inspired Microneedle Patch With Interlocked Rigid‐Soft Architecture for High Tissue‐Adaptiveness

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A root‐inspired microneedle array patch uses lattice‐based mechanical interlocking to unite rigid microneedles with a flexible substrate. The interlocked rigid–soft architecture improves interfacial bonding, supports stable adhesion on curved and wet tissues under dynamic motion, and provides a versatile platform for robust biointerfacing and future ...

A Thickness‐Invariant Origami Robot With Integrated Actuation and Multimodal Locomotion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A thickness‐invariant variation on the Yoshimura origami pattern is used as the basis of a robot, allowing power, actuation, and control systems to be embedded within the thickened panels of the pattern. The robot uses multiple kinematic branches to achieve distinct modes of locomotion, such as walking, running, galloping, and turning. ABSTRACT Origami

Combined orthodontic-surgical approach in the treatment of impacted upper canines [PDF]

open access: yesStomatološki glasnik Srbije, 2019
Impacted tooth is the tooth that failed to reach occlusal level, with a growth of 2/3 of the root completed. Etiological factors of the impacted teeth are various, but the main reason is the lack of space for their eruption.

Impact of Fluorosis is on Teeth

open access: yes, 2022
Teeth are the most studied body tissues to examine the impact of fluoride to human health. There are a few possible mechanisms that have been proposed. It is generally believed that the hypo mineralization of affected enamel is mainly due to in-situ toxic effects of the fluoride on the ameloblasts in the enamel formation, and not caused by the general ...

Improving the Physicochemical Properties, Organic Acids, Amino Acids, Volatile Organic Compounds, and Metabolites of Laohan Melon Juice Through Fermentation With Different Lactic Acid Bacteria

open access: yesAgriFood: Journal of Agricultural Products for Food, EarlyView.
Fermentation with lactic acid bacteria could improve amino acids, volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and nonvolatile metabolites of Laohan melon juice (LMJ), which provides theoretical guidance for the development of Laohan melon beverage and advances knowledge of the metabolic mechanisms of VOCs in LMJ.
