Non-physical Impedance Matching
Non-physical matching (NPM) is a method for transforming the impedance of a CEM modeled device into a target impedance using algebraic methods. NPM is a useful tool for replicating existing devices in CEM models.

The noncoding region of the genome plays a key role in regulating gene expression, and mutations within these regions are capable of altering it. Researchers have identified multiple functional noncoding mutations associated with increased cancer risk in the genome of breast cancer patients.

We describe an acoustic impedance matching method that permits perfect sound transmission between waveguides of different impedances as set by their cross sectional areas.

Monitoring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with operable breast cancer can reveal disease relapse earlier than radiology in a subset of patients. The failure to detect ctDNA in some patients with recurrent disease suggests that ctDNA could serve as a supplement to other monitoring approaches.

Simulation-Based Approach to the Matching of a Dielectric-Filled Circular Waveguide Aperture
The circular waveguide aperture or open-end radiator, one of the canonical antenna elements, can be filled with a dielectric material for miniaturization.

A microstrip array feed for MSAT spacecraft reflector antenna [PDF]
An L-band circularly polarized microstrip array antenna with relatively wide bandwidth has been developed. The array has seven subarrays which form a single cluster as part of a large overlapping cluster reflector feed array.
