Partially Fractal Impedance Networks
Abstract We analyse linear networks of impedances in the case when the impedances at every level differ by a factor of b from those at the previous level. Such networks can be used as models for rough surfaces, in which case there will exist a level of finest detail which must be taken into account in any calculation. We obtain an exact

Guiding AlphaFold to predict how Munc13‐1 opens Syntaxin‐1
The syntaxin‐1 Habc‐domain (orange), linker (pink) and SNARE motif (yellow) form a closed conformation that binds to Munc18‐1 (violet) and is opened by the Munc13‐1 MUN domain (cyan) to form the SNARE complex that triggers neurotransmitter release.

Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy Study of Lithium Ion Batteries Combined With Neural Network Modeling and Battery Impedance Analyzing Circuit Design [PDF]
Lithium ion batteries are widely used in the world. The impedance of lithium ion batteries can potentially give informative insights of battery’s life and health if the interpretation of impedance is reliable enough.

TisIBP8, a fungal‐derived hyperactive ice‐binding protein, helps Caenorhabditis elegans survive dehydration. It localizes near cell membranes, reduces cell damage, and helps maintain membrane structure during drying. These results suggest that ice‐binding proteins can protect cells from dehydration stress as well as freezing stress.

Observability analysis of electric networks considering branch impedance
This paper presents an analytical method to analyze the effect of X to R ratio as well as impedance value of branches on observability of a network based on un-decoupled formulation of state estimation (SE) and null space of matrices.
