Imaginaries in separably closed valued fields
We show that separably closed valued fields of finite imperfection degree (either with lambda-functions or commuting Hasse derivations) eliminate imaginaries in the geometric language. We then use this classification of interpretable sets to study stably

Behaviour of vertical cylindrical tank with local wall imperfections
Design of modern thin-walled metal structures is widely used around the world. In recent decades, more comprehensive research is carried out to investigate the behaviour of various thin-walled structures. Generally, the structure with regular geometry is

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Open-ended design : local re-appropriations through imperfection [PDF]
Design for Sustainability (DfS) focuses on wicked problems that cannot be modelled in reductionist ways. Furthermore, when bottom-up local interventions prove to have positive effects in their context, they remain hard to spread and might ...

Discrete Rogue waves in an array of waveguides
We study discrete rogue waves in an array of nonlinear waveguides. We show that very small degree of disorder due to experimental imperfection has a deep effect on the formation of discrete rogue waves. We predict long-living discrete rogue wave solution

Purcell‐Enhanced Spectrally Precise Emission in Dual‐Microcavity Organic Light‐Emitting Diodes
Spectrally precise emission from broadband organic light‐emitting diodes is realized via a dual‐microcavity strategy. This architecture achieves narrowband emission (full width at half maximum, FWHM = 21 nm) with ultrapure color approaching BT.2020 by enhancing the Purcell effect via coupling of excitons with dual‐microcavity resonance.

Adoption of integrated cattle and oil palm farming system in Malaysia [PDF]
Malaysian government had encouraged the adoption of integrated cattle and oil palm farming system (ICOFS) since the year 1998. This is due to large areas of land suitable for ICOFS in Malaysia that can be well utilised. Rising up the participation in

The ultrahard teeth of mollusks that feed on rocky substrates contain a wear‐resistant coating on their surfaces consisting of densely packed mesocrystalline magnetic nanoparticles within an organic matrix. These coatings display significant hardness and toughness through their highly controlled mesocrystalline architectures.

Income inequality comparisons with dirty data: the UK and Spain during the 1980s [PDF]
Inequality comparisons between countries and over time should take into account problems of data imperfection. We examine the contrasting experience of the UK and Spain during the 1980s in terms of the distribution of disposable income.
