Automated Hand Flexor Tendon–Thickness Measurement in Systemic Sclerosis
Objective Systemic sclerosis (SSc) can affect flexor tendons, contributing to hand function problems and reduced quality of life. Tendon changes are currently assessed with ultrasonography and measured manually, a time‐consuming process prone to interobserver variability.

Influence of asymmetrical initial form imperfections on fre oscillations of thin shells
In the framework of the theory of shallow shells we studied the effect of the initial deviations from the ideal circular cylindrical shape on flexural vibrations of thin isotropic shells.

This study examines how helicoidal architectures with different porosities respond to bending. Adjusting layer angle and spacing in 3D‐printed polymers reveals clear tradeoffs between stiffness, strength, and energy absorption. Experiments and simulations highlight designs that distribute stress effectively, offering pathways for optimizing lightweight

Buckling resistance of vertical stiffeners of steel silos for grain storage
In steel silos fabricated from horizontally corrugated sheets, the vertical stiffeners (columns) sustain vertical forces as a result of friction of a bulk material against the silo wall. Columns are usually of cold formed steel sections.

Comparison of Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Energy Absorbers Under Uniaxial Compressive Loading
This study investigates LCD 3D printed Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) structures as mechanical energy absorbers. By comparing various base designs and layered combinations under uniaxial compression, it identifies that a Diamond‐Gyroid sandwich structure offers superior performance.

Real Geometrical Imperfection of Bow-String Arches—Measurement and Global Analysis
In order to analyse the buckling behaviour of existing bow-string arch bridges, it is necessary to deal with the imperfections that influence the global stability of their superstructures. Direct quantification of the material imperfections represents an

Security of quantum key distribution with source and detection imperfections
In practice, the device imperfections might introduce deviations from the idealized models used in the security proofs of quantum key distribution (QKD). This requires the refined security analysis for practical QKD. However, in most of previous analysis,
