Adapting TeamSTEPPS for school mental health teams: development of an implementation research logic model

open access: yesFrontiers in Health Services
IntroductionMultidisciplinary school mental health (SMH) teams play a key role in delivering mental health services to children. However, poor workflow, inefficient communication, and limited resources, compromise SMH service delivery.

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

The theory behind the strategies: interpreting the expert recommendations for implementing change taxonomy through four behavioural lenses

open access: yesFrontiers in Health Services
BackgroundImplementation strategies are essential for promoting the uptake of evidence-based practices, yet they are often applied without explicit attention to their theoretical foundations.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Resilient Knowledge-Based Mechanisms For Truly Combinatorial Auctions (And Implementation in Surviving Strategies) [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We put forward a new mechanism achieving a high benchmark for (both revenue and) the sum of revenue and efficiency in truly combinatorial auctions. Notably, our mechanism guarantees its performance (1) in a very adversarial collusion model; (2) for any ...

Strategies Towards SDG 6 Implementation

open access: yes, 2023
The Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 6-Ensure access to water and sanitation for all underpins and is interrelated with most other SDGs as water is a critical input to meet many of the development and environmental targets.

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Changing hearts and minds: theorizing how, when, and under what conditions three social influence implementation strategies work

open access: yesFrontiers in Health Services
BackgroundOpinion leadership, educational outreach visiting, and innovation championing are commonly used strategies to address barriers to implementing innovations and evidence-based practices in healthcare settings.
