The AGBNP2 Implicit Solvation Model [PDF]
The AGBNP2 implicit solvent model, an evolution of the Analytical Generalized Born plus Non-Polar (AGBNP) model we have previously reported, is presented with the aim of modeling hydration effects beyond those described by conventional continuum dielectric representations.

Implicit meshes for modeling and reconstruction [PDF]
Explicit surfaces, such as triangulations or wireframe models, have been extensively used to represent the deformable 3D models that are used to fit 3D point and 2D silhouette data. The resulting approaches, however, suffer from the fact that fitting typically involves finding the facets that are closest to the 3D data points or most likely to be ...

Implicit Surface Modeling from Imprecise Point Clouds [PDF]
In applying optical methods for automated 3D indoor modelling, the 3D reconstruction of objects and surfaces is very sensitive to both lighting conditions and the observed surface properties, which ultimately compromise the utility of the acquired 3D ...

On the Solution of the Implicit Roesser Model [PDF]
The main objective of this work is to provide a close formula for the backward and symmetric solution of the 2-D singular Roesser model given in Roesser, RP (1975). Of fundamental importance in our approach is the relative forward and backward fundamental matrix.

Semi-Implicit Generative Model
To combine explicit and implicit generative models, we introduce semi-implicit generator (SIG) as a flexible hierarchical model that can be trained in the maximum likelihood framework. Both theoretically and experimentally, we demonstrate that SIG can generate high quality samples especially when dealing with multi-modality.
