The Study of Tariff Barriers and Foreign Exchange Rates Effects in the Function of Iran's Import Demand: A Critical Review of Iran's Trade Policy and Foreign Exchange Regime for Real Support to National Production) [PDF]
So far, relatively a few studies have been conducted to investigate the effect of tariff rates on total imports of countries, which do not have consistent results.

Importin 7 mediates the nuclear import of HIV‐1 integrase via a specific interacting interface
HIV‐1 integrase enables viral DNA integration into the host genome. By binding to the core domain of the host protein Importin 7 via its C‐terminal domain, the integrase is transported across the nuclear membrane into the nucleus, where integration of the viral genome into host DNA takes place. This translocation is a critical step for subsequent viral

Biophysical characterisation shows that NanX, a membrane transport protein from the major facilitator superfamily (MFS), forms both monomers and dimers after purification. AlphaFold modelling and substrate docking provide information on residues likely involved in substrate recognition for NanX and another MFS member, NanT.

Protocol for quantifying miRNA trafficking across the endosomal membrane
An in vitro protocol measures miRNA uptake into endosomes isolated from mammalian cell extracts, which are free of subcellular contaminants. Performed at 37 °C in the presence of ATP, it ensures the import of single‐stranded miRNA into the endosomal lumen.

The physical and functional borders of transit peptide-like sequences in secondary endosymbionts
Background Plastids rely on protein supply by their host cells. In plastids surrounded by two membranes (primary plastids) targeting of these proteins is facilitated by an N-terminal targeting signal, the transit peptide.

A note on the estimation of import trade demand functions
This paper compares six alternative methods of computing the import demand function. We use a sample of 33 countries from 1995:1 to 2016:3 and brand new information on import contents made available by WIOD. Preferred models take into account the separate effects of each final demand component.

IMPORT DEMAND FUNCTIONS: EVIDENCE FROM CIBS [PDF]
This paper adopts the bounds testing approach to test for the validity of the cointegration or stationarity restriction embodied in five import demand model specifications for CIBS during the period 1970-2007. It identifies long-run relationships in a subset of the five models for each CIBS countries.
