Estimating Land Degradation Level Using Remote Sensing Data and Fuzzy AHP Technique
ABSTRACT Land degradation is a critical global environmental concern that significantly impacts ecosystem services, agricultural productivity, weather patterns, human livelihoods and overall well‐being. Prompt and precise assessments of land degradation status are crucial for environmental governance and sustainable development. Remote sensing data can

Quantum-like imprecise probabilities
Abstract The primary contribution of this work is the identification of the equivalence between imprecise probabilities and quantum probabilities, resulting in the development of the concept of probability waves.

Calibration‐Free Single‐Frame Super‐Resolution Fluorescence Microscopy
A deep learning framework reconstructs super‐resolved fluorescence images from a single dense camera frame, without any prior calibration or knowledge of the microscope. Trained solely on synthetic data, it generalizes across imaging setups and conditions.

Proteomic Signatures of Ectopic Fat Distribution: Tissue‐Specific Drivers and Clinical Implications
Integration of plasma proteomics and multi‐organ MRI in 666 UK Biobank participants, combined with a knockoff‐based causal inference and machine learning framework, reveals organ‐specific drivers of ectopic fat: PLA2G1B (pancreas), ERBB2/IGFBP2 (liver), CA14 (muscle), and NCAM2/TNFRSF10B (pericardium). These drivers engage distinct pathways (e.g., PI3K‐

Serum elemental profiling combined with machine learning supports exploratory Alzheimer's disease (AD) identification and cognitive score prediction. In this retrospective cross‐sectional study, 874 participants from the BANC‐PUMC, including cognitively normal controls and patients with AD, were analyzed.

Bayesian reliability analysis with imprecise prior probabilities [PDF]
The Bayesian framework for statistical inference offers the possibility of taking expert opinions into account, and is therefore attractive in practical problems concerning reliability of technical systems.

Abstract Patients with recurrent high‐grade glioma (rHGG) have a poor prognosis with median progression‐free survival (PFS) of <7 months. Responses to treatment are heterogenous, suggesting a clinical need for prognostic models. Bayesian data analysis can exploit individual patient follow‐up imaging studies to adaptively predict the risk of progression.
