Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) in a Patient With Compound Heterozygous OPA1 Variants: Case Report and Literature Review

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

Sparse signal recovery based on adaptive algorithms for debris detector

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2021
Inductive debris sensors are generally used in online debris detection and perform well in monitoring the wear condition of rotating facilities. The detection accuracy is restricted by the superposition and noise of the impedance signal.

Impulsive impedances in lossless circuits: Fourierand Laplace methods

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2000
A proposal for adding impulsive components of impedance/admittance to the reactance/susceptance for lossless transmission lines is extended to all lossless resonant circuits. This new Fourier analysis yields a finite rate of energy transfer from a lossless source while the orthodox analysis would give an unbounded steady-state energy transfer.

CAR T‐Cell Therapy in Neurology: A Scoping Review of Neuro‐Oncology, Autoimmune Diseases & Neurotoxicity

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T‐cell therapy has been investigated in neurological diseases, encompassing both central nervous system malignancies and autoimmune disorders, thereby extending its application beyond hematological cancers.

Experimental Investigation on Cumulative Effects of Transformer Winding Deformation Under Short‐Circuit Impulses

open access: yesIET Electric Power Applications
Power transformer windings are susceptible to deformation after multiple short‐circuit impulses, threatening power grid stability. Currently, there is a lack of experimental data on various characteristic parameters of failures after multiple short ...

Respiratory system impedance with impulse oscillometry in healthy and COPD subjects: ECLIPSE baseline results

open access: yes, 2011
SummaryRationaleCurrent assessment of COPD relies extensively on the use of spirometry, an effort-dependent maneuver. Impulse oscillometry (IOS) is a non-volitional way to measure respiratory system mechanics, but its relationship to structural and ...

Current-voltage characteristics of an impulse magnetron discharge in target material vapor [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
peer reviewedThe magnetron discharge with hot (uncooled) target in an impulse mode has been experimentally investigated. The I-V characteristics have been measured depending on the magnetic field strength for three target materials: copper, chromium, and

Unraveling 4‐Phenylbutyrate's Therapeutic Role in SLC6A1 Disorders: Pharmacochaperoning Over HDAC Inhibition

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Variants in SLC6A1, encoding the GABA transporter 1 (GAT‐1), cause epilepsy, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental delay via loss of GABA uptake, impaired trafficking, and ER retention. We previously found that 4‐Phenylbutyrate (PBA), an FDA‐approved drug, restores GABA uptake and reduces seizures in SLC6A1‐related disorders ...

Wide-band modelling of tower-footing grounding systems based on the impulse response measurement [PDF]

open access: yesZbornik Radova: Elektrotehnički Institut "Nikola Tesla", 2019
The tower footing grounding system is of major importance for analysis of the lightning overvoltages on an overhead transmission line during backflashover and shielding failure.

Interaction of Intraprocedural Antiplatelets and Intravenous Thrombolysis in Acute Intracranial Stenting: RESISTANT Registry Subanalysis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction/Objective Acute intracranial stenting during endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) for ischemic stroke requires intraprocedural antiplatelet therapy (APT) to maintain patency. However, the hemorrhagic risk of combining APT with intravenous thrombolysis (IVT) remains uncertain.
