On Stability of Differential Systems with Noninstantaneous Impulses
A new class of impulsive differential equations with noninstantaneous fixed time impulses is considered. Uniform stability and uniform asymptotic stability of solutions of the system have been established by employing piecewise Lyapunov functions.

Objective We estimated incidence rates of avoidable hospitalizations by persons with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) relative to the general population. Methods We identified individuals meeting a validated case definition for RA based on International Classification of Diseases, Ninth Revision, Clinical Modification (ICD‐9‐CM) and ICD‐10‐CA codes in years ...

Control jet placement on spacecraft [PDF]
For efficient operation and configuration design of multijet spacecraft control systems methods of linear programming are used to select combinations of individual jet-burn times which produce the desired impulses.

Ageism in Rheumatology: the Healthcare Professional's Perspective
Objective Ageism (age‐based stereotypes, prejudice, or discrimination) is prevalent and linked to prolonged disability and reduced lifespan in older adults. Little is known about ageism within rheumatology. This study explores the healthcare professional's (HCP) perception of the care of older adults and how ageist attitudes or perspectives may impact ...

Existence and uniqueness of solutions to impulsive fractional differential equations
In this article, we establish sufficient conditions for the existence of solutions for a class of initial value problem for impulsive fractional differential equations involving the Caputo fractional derivative.

In this paper, the impulsive conformable calculus approach is applied to the introduction of an M1 oncolytic virotherapy neural network model. The proposed model extends some existing mathematical models that describe the dynamics of the concentrations ...

Core Components of Emotional Impulsivity: A Mouse-Cursor Tracking Study [PDF]
Impulsive individuals exhibit abnormal reward processing (heightened preference for immediate rewards, i.e., impulsive choice, IC) and a penchant for maladaptive action (the inability to inhibit inappropriate actions, i.e., impulsive action, IA). Both impulsive choice and impulsive action are strongly influenced by emotions (emotional impulsivity); yet

An Intrinsic Impulse Observability Criterion for Descriptor System [PDF]
Analyzing the order of unobservable impulse in descriptor system leads to a new testing criterion for impulse observability, both the statement and the proof of which use only the original system data.

The cost as a function of the number of experiments for a non‐symmetric 21×21$$ 21\times 21 $$ system. Four approaches are shown: the proposed stochastic conjugate gradient ILC (SCGILC) method (), deterministic conjugate gradient ILC (), stochastic gradient descent ILC () and deterministic gradient descent ILC ().

Stability of Differential Equations with Random Impulses and Caputo-Type Fractional Derivatives
In this paper, we study nonlinear differential equations with Caputo fractional derivatives with respect to other functions and impulses. The main characteristic of the impulses is that the time between two consecutive impulsive moments is defined by ...
