Resonant impulses

open access: yes, 2019
On this page you can access a short video trailer which summarizes the workshop of The Real Health Center which was realized in August 2017 in a public space in Helsinki. The clip aims to give a short, but broad view of the whole workshop.

In vitro and in silico modelling of ROS1‐positive non‐small cell lung cancer reveals fusion‐dependent tyrosine kinase inhibitor responses

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

Stability of Differential Equations with Random Impulses and Caputo-Type Fractional Derivatives

open access: yesAxioms
In this paper, we study nonlinear differential equations with Caputo fractional derivatives with respect to other functions and impulses. The main characteristic of the impulses is that the time between two consecutive impulsive moments is defined by ...

ZW4864‐mediated inhibition of the β‐catenin/BCL9/BCL9L complex reveals therapeutic potential in bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Complex impulses and their shear performance

open access: yes, 2016

Controllability of Impulsive Non–Linear Delay Dynamic Systems on Time Scale

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
In this paper, we obtain the results of controllability for first order impulsive non–linear time varying delay dynamic systems and Hammerstein impulsive system on time scale, using the theory of fixed points such as Banach fixed point theorem ...

Switched behaviors with impulses - A unifying framework

open access: yes, 2012
We present a new framework to describe and study switched behaviors. We allow for jumps and impulses in the trajectories induced either implicitly by the dynamics after the switch or explicitly by 'impacts'.

Mycobacterial cell division arrest and smooth‐to‐rough envelope transition using CRISPRi‐mediated genetic repression systems

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing and phenotypic exploration in nontuberculous mycobacteria. In this Research Protocol, we describe approaches to control, monitor, and quantitatively assess CRISPRI‐mediated gene silencing in M. smegmatis and M. abscessus model organisms.

Non-instantaneous impulses in differential equations

open access: yes, 2017
This monograph is the first published book devoted to the theory of differential equations with non-instantaneous impulses. It aims to equip the reader with mathematical models and theory behind real life processes in physics, biology, population ...
