P‐1.13: A 10.1‐inch High Stability 120Hz Metal Oxide In‐Cell Touch LCD Display
SID Symposium Digest of Technical Papers, 2022In this work, we fabricated a 10.1‐inch 120 Hz refresh rate display with In‐Cell Touch structure by using BCE (back‐channel etched) IGZO TFT. The Vth deviation of TFTs in G6 glass was about 0.53 V, indicted the excellent process uniformity. Then, the device preforms ware characterized and shown outstanding high‐temperature and long‐time stability. IGZO

25.1: Characteristics of Infrared Photosensor Using Amorphous SiGe for In‐cell Touch Panel
SID Symposium Digest of Technical Papers, 2012Abstract The a‐SiGe:H TFT photosensor for embedded touch screen panel (TSP) was characterized compared with a‐Si:H TFT. The photo sensitivity of a‐SiGe:H sensor at 850 nm IR light was ∼15 times higher than that of a‐Si:H, indicating that a‐SiGe:H is a strong candidate material to an IR sensor.

In‐cell capacitive‐type touch sensor using LTPS TFT‐LCD technology
Journal of the Society for Information Display, 2011Abstract— An LTPS TFT‐LCD with an in‐cell capacitive‐type touch sensor has been proposed and prototyped. The embedded sensor in the pixel was designed to amplify the voltage change caused by capacitive coupling between the detection electrode and conductive object (user's finger).

Robust integrated shift register circuit over clock noises for in‐cell touch applications
Journal of the Society for Information Display, 2017AbstractThis paper proposes an integrated shift register circuit for an in‐cell touch panel that is robust over clock noises. It is composed of 10 thin film transistors and 1 capacitor, and the time division driving method is adopted to prevent the negative effect of display signals on the touch sensing. Two pre‐charging nodes are employed for reducing

44‐2: In‐cell Touch Panel LCD Driving Method for EMI Mitigation for Automotive Application
SID Symposium Digest of Technical Papers, 2021Automotive applications require suppressing EMI (Electro Magnetic Interference) noise in order to avoid interference with other electrical components, and the specification is much tighter than mobile applications. Currently, in‐cell touch LCDs are widely seen in the market especially in mobile phone applications, which are integrating touch panel ...

An in‐cell capacitive touch sensor integrated in an LTPS WSVGA TFT‐LCD
Journal of the Society for Information Display, 2012AbstractThis paper discusses an In‐cell capacitive touch sensor and its integration in an LTPS TFT‐LCD with 7‐inch screen size and WSVGA resolution. The operation of the newly developed sensor is based on capacitive coupling between user's finger and the detection electrode on the TFT substrate, and is purely capacitive.

Support for both touch sensing and fingerprint scan with in-cell capacitive LCD
SPIE Proceedings, 2014The need for touch based authentication is growing rapidly in smartphones and tablets. Historically, fingerprint has served at its fullest capacity in establishing the uniqueness of an individual’s identity. In this paper we present a novel design of capacitive in-cell TFT-LCDs that supports both fingerprint scan and touch sensing by extending the ...
