Establishment and Growth of In Vitro-cultured Dieffenbachia
Abstract Size of plant, maximum greenhouse temperature, and fertilizer level were major factors in the growth of tissue-cultured plants of Dieffenbachia maculata (Lodd.) G. Don (dumbcane), but mist, growing mixtures, and rooting hormones had minimal influence.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

The production of pig preimplantation embryos in vitro: Current progress and future prospects [PDF]
Human assisted reproductive technology procedures are routinely performed in clinics globally, and some of these approaches are now common in other mammals such as cattle. This is currently not the case in pigs.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

In vitro establishment and culture of two Sicilian cultivars of Olea europaea L [PDF]
Sicily is among the Italian regions with the largest cultivation area of olive (Olea europaea L.). The applications of in vitro tissue culture, as practical tool of propagation and germplasm storage, were not sufficiently exploited in this species ...

In vitro establishment of Handroanthus heptaphyllus nodal segments
Micropropagation could be used as a viable alternative in the mass production of Handroanthus heptaphyllus (Vell.) Mattos (white lapacho). The objective of the present work was to establish in vitro of nodal segments of H. heptaphyllus.

Degradation mechanism of the von Willebrand factor A2 domain by nattokinase
Nattokinase, a natto‐derived protease, exhibits potent antithrombotic effects. This study demonstrates that nattokinase directly cleaves the von Willebrand factor (vWF) A2 domain in vitro. Unlike the native regulator ADAMTS13, nattokinase degrades folded vWF independently of shear stress.

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...
