Use of epididymal sperm with in vitro fertilization ( IVF ) and Intracytoplasmic sperm infection ( ICSI ) methods [PDF]

open access: yes, 1998
Obstrüktif azospermi tanısıyla incelenen 27 infertil erkekte epididimal sperm kullanımı ile in w'frofertilizas-yon (IVF) ve intrasitoplazmik sperm İnjeksiyonu (ICSI) yöntemlerinin sonuçları değerlendirildi.

Effects of increased ambient temperature during IVM and/or IVF on the In vitro development of bovine zygotes [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Previous research by this group (2003) has demonstrated that heat stress during in vitro culture (IVC) significantly increased early embryo mortality.

In Vitro Fertilization Following Short In Vitro Maturation versus Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection: A Comparative Study of Fertilization Outcomes in Sibling Oocytes from Women with Varying Stages of Endometriosis

open access: yesClinical and Experimental Obstetrics & Gynecology
Background: Endometriosis, a common cause of infertility, adversely impacts both the quality and quantity of oocytes and embryos, with increasing severity negatively influencing assisted reproductive technology (ART) outcomes.

CD9 Expression by Human Granulosa Cells and Platelets as a Predictor of Fertilization Success during IVF

open access: yesObstetrics and Gynecology International, 2010
Objective. To determine whether CD9 expression on human granulosa cells (GCs) and platelets could predict the success of conventional fertilization of human oocytes during in vitro fertilization (IVF). Methods.

Transmasculine pregnancy—Occurrence, associations, and outcomes: A quantitative systematic review

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.
This quantitative systematic review of 44 studies shows that a significant minority of transmasculine people become pregnant, including after transition. Miscarriage and postnatal depression rates appeared high, but there was minimal information on most other important outcomes, demonstrating that more research is needed.

Assessing quality standards of biomarker measurement in first‐trimester combined screening for preeclampsia in the Chinese population: A multicenter study

open access: yesActa Obstetricia et Gynecologica Scandinavica, EarlyView.
In 22 066 first‐trimester pregnancies from six Chinese hospitals, biomarker measurements required recalibration to align with the established risk model. Continuous quality assurance is essential to ensure accurate preeclampsia risk assessment when implementing combined screening in new populations.

Successful pregnancy after preimplantation genetic testing for structural rearrangements in a couple with complex chromosome rearrangement and recurrent in vitro fertilization failures: a case report

open access: yesF&S Reports
Objective: To present a case of a couple with 20 years of infertility and 10 recurrent in vitro fertilization (IVF) failures, identifying a paternal complex chromosome rearrangement using high-resolution karyotype together with preimplantation genetic ...

Establishment of Human Formative Pluripotent Stem Cell‐Like Cells Exhibiting Amniotic Differentiation Potentials

open access: yesCell Proliferation, EarlyView.
The hfPSC‐LCs could be established from naïve hESCs, conventional hESCs, hiPSCs, and human blastocysts. The hfPSC‐LCs hold robust capacity for three germ layers, hPGCLCs, and hALPCs. ABSTRACT Human embryos undergo pivotal morphogenetic remodelling shortly after implantation. The understanding of this crucial stage is severely impeded by the scarcity of

Incidence of subchorionic hematoma and contributing factors in assisted reproductive technologies—a retrospective cohort study

open access: yesFrontiers in Medicine
BackgroundTo explore the incidence of subchorionic hematoma (SCH) in IVF-ET (In vitro fertilization-embryo transfer, IVF-ET) fresh, IVF-FET (In vitro fertilization-freeze–thaw embryo transfer, IVF-FET), PGT-FET (preimplantation genetic testing-freeze ...

Stuck in the Waiting Room: An Analytical Essay Exploring Infertility at Work

open access: yesGender, Work &Organization, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this analytical essay, we use our embodied career experiences to explore infertility at work, placing our “infertile body” at the center of analysis. We consider the ways in which infertility has impacted our identities, careers, and timelines.
