MRDCI studies on the electronic states of InBr and InBr+
Journal of Molecular Structure: THEOCHEM, 2009Abstract Ab initio based relativistic configuration interaction calculations have been performed to study the electronic structure and spectroscopic properties of InBr and InBr+. Potential energy curves of a large number of states of both the species are constructed.

The first listing of inbred strains of rats was by Billingham and Silvers (1959). This is the fifth listing and has been substantially revised, although it is heavily dependent on previous listings (Festing and Staats, 1973). In contrast with previous listings, an attempt has been made to cite the original reference for any given strain characteristic.

Construction of the Inbred Strain
2016Genetically homogeneous populations such as inbred strains are valuable experimental tools in various fields of biomedical analyses. In many animals, inbred strains are established by consecutive sib-pair mating for a minimum of 20 generations. As the generation proceeds, fitness of the population reduces usually.

Metrazol thresholds in inbred and non-inbred audiosensitive mice.
Neurotoxicology, 2005Mice of the O'Grady strain which were inbred for susceptibility to audiogenic seizures were found to be more sensitive to pentamethylenetetrazol (Metrazol) convulsions than mice of the parent Swiss-Webster strain from which they were originally derived. A dose of 35 mg/kg Metrazol was required to produce a 50% convulsive response (CD50) in O'Grady mice

Genealogy of the 129 inbred strains: 129/SvJ is a contaminated inbred strain
Mammalian Genome, 1997The 129 mouse is the most widely used strain in gene targeting experiments. However, numerous substrains exist with demonstrable physiological differences. In this study a set of simple sequence length polymorphisms (SSLPs) was used to determine the relatedness of selected 129 substrains.

Phylogenetics of rat inbred strains
Mammalian Genome, 2003Laboratory rats (Rattus norvegicus) have played animportant role in biomedical research for over 100years with more than 200 strains bred as physiologi-cal models of human disease (Lindsey 1979; Steenet al. 1999; Kwitek-Black and Jacob 2001). Unlikemouse inbred strains, little is known about rela-tionships among rat strains (Festing 1979).

Erythrocyte Catalase in Inbred Mice
Enzymologia biologica et clinica, 2017Erythrocyte catalase activity in 18 inbred strains of mice ranged from 9.9 to 35.5 U/ml red blood cells/sec. Inbred strain and sex were shown to be the major factors determining the catalase activity level.
