SMA Syndrome Treated by Single Incision Laparoscopic Duodenojejunostomy
Superior mesenteric artery (SMA) syndrome is a mechanical duodenal obstruction by the SMA. The traditional approach to SM A syndrome was open bypass surgery. Nowadays, a conventional approach has been replaced by laparoscopic surgery. But single incision

Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

We have established a humanized orthotopic patient‐derived xenograft (Hu‐oPDX) mouse model of high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) that recapitulates human tumor–immune interactions. Using combined anti‐PD‐L1/anti‐CD73 immunotherapy, we demonstrate the model's improved biological relevance and enhanced translational value for preclinical ...

Colorectal Cancer Resection Via a Single Minimal Incision [PDF]
Smaller incisions may be the major reason for reduced invasiveness of laparotomy. The aim of this study was to clarify the feasibility and safety of a minimal skin incision for colorectal cancer resection.

C-reactive protein as an inflammatory marker in monitoring therapy effectiveness of acute odontogenic infections [PDF]
Introduction. Clinical presentation of acute odontogenic infections may vary, while adequate evaluation of its severity is of great importance for determination of appropriate and effective therapy. Objective.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Acute inflammatory response to colorectal cancer resection according to different laparotomy incision lengths [PDF]
The aim of this study was to clarify a correlation between acute inflammatory response to surgery and different laparotomy lengths in patients who underwent colorectal cancer resection via a single minimal laparotomy. Between April 2005 and May 2008, 131
