TEAD1 Enhances Exosome Secretion and Promotes Exosome‐Mediated Tissue Regeneration
TEAD1 functions as a crucial molecular switch regulating exosome secretion in various cell types. TEAD1 enhances exosome secretion by upregulating key proteins associated with exosome secretion, including RAB11, CD9, and SNAP23. This study reveals a novel role for TEAD1 in regulating exosome secretion and tissue regeneration, particularly in diabetic ...

An Incomplete Contracts Approach to Corporate Bankruptcy [PDF]
This paper integrates the problem of designing corporate bankruptcy rules into a theory of optimal debt structure. We show that, in an incomplete contract framework with imperfect renegotiation, having multiple creditors increases a firm's debt capacity ...

A flexible, ultrathin multi‐channel microelectrode array (MEA) conformally integrated onto a curved slide‐well enables stable electrical interfacing with 3D cardiac organoids. The geometry‐guided self‐alignment allows simultaneous recording of extracellular field potentials and contractile motion from irregular, beating tissues.

Bureaucrats and Public Procurement [PDF]
This paper deals with a Niskanen type of public-procurement agency. It is shown that the procurement game should be separated into an investment game and a project game, the first game to be played before nature determines the actual real-izations of ...

This study established an RT‐MSCs‐based therapeutic approach for scleroderma in mice. RT‐MSCs attenuated fibrosis by regulating mitochondrial autophagy and restored gut microbiota homeostasis. Metabolomic analyses confirmed recovery of key metabolites, and RT‐MSCs demonstrated favorable lesion targeting and safety profiles.

Institutions and Contract Enforcement [PDF]
We provide evidence on how two important types of institutions – dismissal barriers, and bonus pay – affect contract enforcement behavior in a market with incomplete contracts and repeated interactions.

Size‐Modulated Mesoderm‐Endoderm Divergence and Myocardial Cavitation in Micropatterned Cardioids
Micropatterned cardioids, CRISPR‐engineered reporter hiPSCs, deep‐tissue imaging, and single‐cell RNA sequencing are integrated to model mesoderm‐endoderm co‐development. Heart‐foregut crosstalk promotes single large cavitation inside cardioids, resembling early heart chamber formation. ABSTRACT The human heart, originating from the splanchnic mesoderm,

Lost in Translation: Honest Misunderstandings and Ex Post Disputes [PDF]
We give a formal treatment of optimal risk sharing contracts in the face of ambiguity. The central idea is that boundedly rational individuals do not have access to a language sufficiently rich to describe all possible states of nature.

Adoption of a Cleaner Technology by a Monopoly Under Incomplete Information [PDF]
We consider a model consisting of a monopolistic firm producing a certain good with pollution. This firm can adopt a cleaner technology within a finite time by incurring an investment cost decreasing exponentially with the adoption date.

This study investigates how endothelial monolayers balance cohesion and plasticity during mechanical stimulation. In HUVECs, shear stress induces a tension‐sensitive intermediate state in which junctional VE‐cadherin and actomyosin relaxation levels coordinate actin/integrin remodeling. This rapid, reversible state strengthens cell junctions, preserves
