Magnetohydrodynamic stability of heterogeneous incompressible nondissipative conducting liquids
Applied Scientific Research, Section B, 1964This discussion which is restricted to the flow of heterogeneous, incompressible, inviscid, perfect conducting liquids between two rotating or nonrotating coaxial cylinders is divided into three parts. In the first part the stability of the liquid in question between two coaxial nonrotating cylinders with an applied magnetic field perpendicular to the ...

Liquid boundaries for implicit incompressible SPH
Computers & Graphics, 2015We propose a novel unified particle representation for fluids and solid boundaries in Implicit Incompressible SPH (IISPH). In contrast to existing particle representations, the proposed concept does not require a separate processing of fluid and boundary particles. On one hand, this results in a simplified solver implementation with improved efficiency.

Interaction of excitons with an incompressible quantum liquid
Physical Review B, 1992Some general properties of exciton spectra of an interacting two-dimensional electron-hole system have been established. In the quantum limit both the frequencies and the matrix elements of exciton transitions are independent of environment, i.e., of filling factors of electrons and holes, if all the electron-hole interactions are equal in magnitude, ${

Incompressible composite fermion liquids
Physica E: Low-dimensional Systems and Nanostructures, 2008The "second generation" fractional quantum Hall states containing a partially filled composite fermion (CF) Landau level (LL) are studied theoretically. The role of the unique form of the CF-CF interaction in the incompressibility of the underlying quantum electron liquid is explained. In particular, the two- and three-body CF correlation functions for

Dynamic Analysis of Incompressible Viscous Liquids
Journal of Applied Mechanics, 1979A Lagrangian finite-element analysis technique is presented for two-dimensional plane strain problems involving time-dependent incompressible flow of viscous liquids. The incompressibility feature is obtained with an iterative procedure which adjusts the nodal velocities until the anticipated volumetric strains are within specified limits.
